Brittany & Koley - A Historic Downtown Wedding in Kerrville, TX
Brittany & Koley’s beautiful wedding at Schreiner Mansion in Kerrville, Texas sure seemed like a long time coming for the two of them! These two grew up together and their parents had been friends for years – what a perfect little love story! I had the best time working with Brittany in the couple months leading up to their big day; she was so organized and was just FUN to be around. Y’all will see in the photos from their special day, this girl is always smiling and made the most radiant bride.
Their ceremony was at the historic Schreiner Mansion in downtown Kerrville. They were able to get ready in a bridal suite that took up an entire floor above the reception venue, Events at Waters St. It was one of the coolest and most well thought out bridal spaces we’ve seen in a long time! And how stunning is Brittany's dress?! This Willow by Watters gown from Liv & Love Bridal was EVERYTHING!
We loved the elegance and simplicity in the reception setup inside Events at Waters St. The venue itself is beautiful, with historic charm and beautiful stone wall features. It was complimented well with the fruitwood farmhouse tables rented from Marquee, and we added pops of color in the napkins and greenery. The favors on each guests’ place setting were little honey jars which was the bride paying homage to her late grandfather who was a beekeeper. Seriously, so sweet!
When working with them to plan out their special day, I learned that Cartewheels Catering is open there during the week – which was a clear favorite for locals in the area and I can see why…it was delicious!
Before the ceremony, these two elected to do a first look – again a favorite of ours because all.the.photos. They took to the streets of the city with their bridal party and it made for some super fun photos!
After their first dance as husband & wife and dances with their parents, Brittany asked the DJ to play “We Are Family” so both sides could come together on the dance floor. I don’t think I saw the dance floor empty at all after that!
Congratulations again you two. I hope you’re enjoying the first few months of married life <3 Thank you again for letting me be a part of your special day!
