A Winter Wonderland Wedding | Park 31| Nina & Chris | Boerne + San Antonio, TX Wedding Planner

Updated: Sep 19, 2019

Nina & Chris’ wedding was a dream, and we think it looked like a literal fairytale! These two were married at Park 31 in Spring Branch, TX, which is one of our favorite venues in the Hill Country (you’ll see why when you look at these photos). It was a frigid February day, to say the least. But being the troopers that Nina, Chris, and their bridal party were, they stuck it out and completed their ceremony outside in the Umbrella Grove as they originally intended. Nina’s brother officiated the ceremony, which made it even that much sweeter.

Their hashtag, #TableforToups is probably the best one we've ever seen!

A special moment before the "I dos" - seriously, father-daughter first looks get us every time!

The colors Nina chose to use for their big day were perfect for winter: rich, warm tones, which was exactly what we all needed on that chilly Friday in February! The blankets that we put out for guests to use at the ceremony were definitely a popular commodity!

We were lucky to work with an incredible team of vendors for their wedding – some of our all time faves, for sure! Angie & the Evember team did an amazing job creating heighth at the head table (which works so well in the two-story reception space), and the long garlands along the farm tables sprinkled with floating candles throughout created a romantic, cozy space. Nina & Chris chose to purchase their own chargers and napkins, as well as created a seating chart with place cards for their guests to enjoy dinner. As part of our services, we got to Park 31 early in the morning to ensure everything was placed exactly where it should be – so Nina, her mom, and bridesmaids could relax and enjoy their morning in the beautiful bridal suite upstairs!

There are so many places to take stunning portrait photos inside Park 31! It helps when you have an incredible photographer, like our sister company Snap Chic Photography behind the camera, as well! ;)

Dominic from At Last Entertainment kept the party going all night – seriously I don’t think the dance floor was empty even once! Can you spot the Aggie War Hymn going on too?! As a huge college football fan (and Michigan State alumna), I can appreciate a fight song moment!

And when the party was over, these two lovebirds had one last dance alone, while we lined everyone up for the grand sparkler exit on the outside Park 31 patio. A perfect ending to a perfect day!
